1. Bold Sunnies- It can be even brighter out at this time of year due. Protect your eyes by grabbing a pair of statement sunglasses. Bold means anything from prints and thick frames to unexpected shapes.

2. Bright Crossbody Bags- Again, just because it’s not spring anymore doesn’t mean you have to put away your colorful items. It’s a great time to brighten up your outfit, especially because it’s gray out and gets darker earlier. The best way to do this is by grabbing a crossbody bag in a bright color. It’s just the right size to make a statement.

3. Crystal Jewelry- Clear jewels go with anything. They also look great with darker colors like deep red and black. Make your outfit pop with crystal necklaces, bracelets and rings.

4. Knit Scarves- These have always been fashionable, but this season they’re getting more attention. They come in a variety of designs, like infinity and pashminas. Grab one in a lighter, knit material so you won’t overheat indoors.

5. Top-Handle Bags- All of the fall runways this year had some sort of top-handle bag in the line up. Gone are the days of oversized satchels and totes. Top-handle bags offer just as much space and look even more fashionable.

Hair Chalk: The Latest in Hair Make Up

Looking to make a change with your hair without making the commitment? Dying your hair can cause a lot of damage. Anything from breakage to split ends can be caused from dying your hair multiple times, but with this latest trend called, “hair chalk”.

Hair chalk is inexpensive and easy to use. You can buy inexpensive non-oil-based pastels at Michael’s for $5 or spend $60 if you really want to make that splurge. All you need other than the chalk is a water bottle, protective gloves, towels and a flat iron.

Here are some tips…if you have blonde hair, you’ll have a much easier time, since your hair is already light, it’ll be easier for you to go for crazy colors. Brunettes, you’ll have a bit more difficulty attaining the right saturation of color. Red heads need to be careful to choose the right color. Black hair will almost be impossible to color correctly, but you can achieve a light tint with hair chalk.

Blondes can pull off pretty much any hair chalk color. The lightest blondes look best with pastel colors, like pink or purple. Brunettes will find that red will be the easiest color to put on their hair, and will also look the best, especially if they have warm tones naturally. Brunettes can also experiment with blue or yellow. Black haired folks should stick with bright, neon colors, like pink, yellow or green.

Hair chalk is a fun and easy way to make a change without the worry of damaging your hair. Just make sure to do your research and you will be fine. Have fun with it!
